You'd Be Home Now

You'd Be Home Now is a young adult novel written by Kathleen Glasgow. This is my most recent read and it definitely threw me for a loop. It was so beautifully written and was able show how much the characters within really internally grew.

I really enjoyed this book due to Kathleen's writing style, keeping me engaged for long periods of time. This book had a fast hook and did not disappoint the more I read. The characters within are so detailed and each have so many emotions filled with depth and little quirks. They each had their own story continuing the bigger story for the main character. I cried and laughed and had to just put the book down at times because I was so amazed and engaged in what was happening. Its definitely at the top of my list.

Due to some tough topics I would not recommend this for everyone. However, it did change my perspective on many things discussed throughout the book. I would rate this a 8/10 and would tell anyone who enjoyed Girl in Pieces (also written by Kathleen Glasgow) to read as soon as possible.
