Love & Other Words

Love & Other Words is a young adult novel written by Christina Lauren about the troubles of highschool love and the insights of a young girls mind. This book was so easy to read and relate to, especially being around the same age as the main character. The main character, Macy, went through ups and downs of her teenage world showing us how it affected her adult life.

This book was very entertaining and a fast read for me. I was able to enjoy the details of the characters and story while still rapidly moving through the plot. The double perspective of young Macy and her adult self was interesting and captivating as I got to compare the differences in the two and learn the quirks of the character.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fast and easy read. It was fun and fast leaving no time for me to put the book down. I would rate this book a 6/10!
